Description
An inhibitor of the Myc-MAX protein-protein interaction; binds to Myc (Kd = 2.75 µM) and increases GSK3β-mediated Myc phosphorylation in a cell-free assay; decreases the viability of MyC-CaP and LNCaP cells at 5 and 10 µM; induces apoptosis in a panel of 11 breast cancer cell lines at 10 µM; reduces tumor volume in a MyC-CaP mouse xenograft model at 100 mg/kg
