Description
Eprobemide is an inhibitor of monoamine oxidase A (MAO-A).{67342} It reduces immobility time in a modified version of the forced swim test in rats when administered at a dose of 10 mg/kg.{67343} Formulations containing eprobemide have previously been used in the treatment of depression.
