Description
A T-type calcium channel inhibitor (IC50s = 0.050-0.160 µM for human recombinant Cav3.1, Cav3.2, and Cav3.3); selective for T-type channels over the Cav2.2 channel (IC50 = 11 µM), as well as rat Cav1.2, hERG/Kv11.1, and human Nav1.5 channels (IC50s = 32, 7.8, and 100 µM, respectively); reduces seizure duration and the amount of time spent in seizures in a rat model of absence epilepsy at 30 mg/kg
