Description
An inducer of autophagy; increases the number of p62 aggregates, as well as the number of autophagosomes and autolysosomes, in wild-type HeLa cells, but not in SQSTM1-/- HeLa cells, at 10 µM; 1004 induces autophagic flux and the conversion of LC3-I to LC3-II in HeLa cells; increases the degradation of mHTTQ103 protein expressed in HeLa cells
