Description
A nonionic surfactant; CMC = 0.02 mM at room temperature; inhibits P-gp substrate-induced ATPase activity in cell-free assays (IC50s = 0.4-3.25 µM); reverses benzo[a]pyrene-induced locomotor deficits in zebrafish larvae at 1 µM; intravenous administration of nanocrystals containing tocofersolan (50 mg/kg) and paclitaxel reduces tumor growth in an NCI/ADR-RES mouse xenograft model; liposomes containing tocofersolan and DOTMA and encapsulating anti-miR-21 accumulate in the liver, lung, and spleen and decrease lung fibrosis in a mouse model of bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis
