Description
An ACE inhibitor (IC50 = 67 nM) and a prodrug form of spiraprilat; inhibits the angiotensin I-induced pressor response in rats and dogs (ID50s = 16 and 262 µg/kg, respectively); decreases systolic blood pressure and left ventricular hypertrophy and induces angiogenesis in spontaneously hypertensive rats 5 mg/kg
