Description
An amine-terminated PAMAM dendrimer; ~15 Å in diameter and has 4 surface groups; an antagonist for PA63 (IC50 = 231 nM) and C. botulinum C2 toxin subunit C2IIa (IC50 = 940 nM) in lipid membranes; reduces C2 toxin-induced death in HeLa cells at 10 and 20 µM; a nickel chelator; in complex with polysulfone membrane-bound chitosan, it selectively captures and stores CO2 over N2 in a gas-feed system; has been used in the synthesis of PAMAM dendrimer G0.5 carboxylate and PAMAM dendrimer G1.0 amine
