Description
An α2A-AR antagonist (Ki = 1.86 nM); selective for α2A-ARs over α2B- and α1-ARs (Kis = 1,949.83 and 13,300 nM, respectively), as well as over 40 receptors, ion channels, and transporters (IC50s = 540->10,000 nM); reverses medetomidine-induced bradycardia and sedation in dogs at 0.04, 0.08, and 1.2 mg/kg; enhances apomorphine- or L-DOPA-induced contralateral circling behavior and prolongs the duration of action of L-DOPA in a rat model of Parkinson’s disease at 0.3 mg/kg
