Description
Our Anti-WAVE1/SCAR mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone K91/36. It is KO validated, detects human, mouse, and rat WAVE1/SCAR, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in IHC, ICC. - Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein family member 1, Verprolin Homology Domain-Containing Protein 1, Protein WAVE-1 or SCAR1 is encoded by the gene WASF1 and is a member of the Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein (WASP)-family. WAVE1/SCAR is an effector protein which transmits of signals from tyrosine kinase receptors and small GTPases to the actin cytoskeleton. WAVE1/SCAR acts as part of the WAVE complex which is involved in the regulation of actin filament reorganization and membrane ruffling. WAVE1/SCAR is expressed in many tissues including brain, ovary, colon, kidney, pancreas and thymus. Diseases associated with this gene include Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome and Alacrima, Achalasia, And Mental Retardation Syndrome. -
