Description
Our chicken Anti-VGlut2 recombinant monoclonal antibody is a chimeric antibody derived from NeuroMab clone N29/29. It detects electric ray, human, mouse and rat VGlut2, and is purified by affinity chromatography. It is great for use in ELISA, IHC, ICC, WB. - Vesicular glutamate transporter 2 (Vglut2) is encoded by the gene Slc17a6 and belongs to the vesicular glutamate transporter family. Vglut2 is expressed in the thalamus, midbrain, brainstem, and spinal cord at synaptic vesicles. It functions to uptake glutamate into synaptic vesicles in excitatory neural cells. Altered expression of Vglut2 has been implicate in include Gnathodiaphyseal Dysplasia and tendinosis. -
