Description
Our Anti-Synaptotagmin-9 mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N276A/15. It detects human, mouse, and rat Synaptotagmin-9, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in IHC, ICC, WB. - Synaptotagmins are a family of calcium sensing, membrane trafficking proteins. 17 different synaptotagmins have been identified in mammals. Along with synaptotagmins 1 and 2, synaptotagmin 9 (also known as synaptotagmin 5) has been shown to function as a Ca(2+) sensor for fast synchronous neurotransmitter release (Xu J et al., 2007). -
