Description
Protein. The extracellular domain of mouse BCMA (aa 1-46) is fused at the C-terminus to the Fc portion of human IgG1. Source: HEK 293 cells. Endotoxin content: <0.01EU/µg purified protein (LAL test; Lonza). Lyophilized. Contains PBS. Binds mouse and human BAFF and APRIL. Purity: >95% (SDS-PAGE). BCMA is a receptor for BAFF and APRIL. It promotes B cell survival and plays a role in the regulation of humoral immunity. It's downstream signaling is dependent on NF-kappaB and JNK.
